As one of the faces on our Sailrite Workbench YouTube channel, you will bring our handcrafted products to life through engaging on-camera demonstrations and storytelling.
Position Summary
The Sewing Content Specialist is responsible for engaging our audience through captivating on-camera presentations, DIY projects, and product demonstrations.
As a YouTube On-Air Talent, you will be the face and voice of our brand on the digital platform, responsible for creating engaging and entertaining content for our audience.
This role plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining a strong online presence, building a loyal community, and driving audience growth.
This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities: YouTube
• Prototype and create products for high-quality instructional and product videos that align with our brand image.
• Create scripts that highlight the process and intricacies of the DIY project process from start to finish.
• Collaborate on various stages of video production, including concept development, storyboarding, scripting, thumbnail creation, and shorts production.
• Monitor trends in upholstery, canvas, bag making, sewing etc.
and product demonstration to ensure our content remains innovative and appealing.
• Work closely with team members both inside and outside the department to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to content creation.
• Showcase your personality on camera while performing DIY projects and during product demonstrations, emphasizing product quality.
• Deliver energetic, authentic, and compelling on-camera performances that captivate and connect with the audience.
• Showcase your expertise in sewing techniques, including cutting, stitching, and finishing, to create exceptional products.
• Follow Sailrite Style Guide to ensure brand consistency.
• Assist with other Marketing Department projects as needed.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Media, Communications, Marketing, etc.
) preferred.
• Demonstrated success and a track record of growth in a similar role.
• Proven experience as an on-camera personality and content creator.
• Strong on-camera presence and excellent communication skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
• Understanding of social media platforms and their role in content promotion.
• Strong understanding of DIY projects, product demonstrations, and content creation trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality canvas projects.
