Sweetwater is seeking an intern as well as a marketing and communications professional to join our team in the role of an Assistant Account Manager.
You will be part of a highly skilled group of communication professionals; responsible for managing and assisting integrated marketing communications for a wide variety of business ventures.
Our Account Managers are responsible for supporting the day to day and long-term strategic planning and marketing needs of Sweetwater.
You will be a trusted partner providing ideas and marketing leadership, delivering sales and promotional ideas that engage our customers, providing excellent customer experiences and ultimately driving sales to our brands through traditional and digital marketing platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work with and support Sweetwater Account Managers to strategize, build and execute marketing campaigns.
Build a proficient understanding of your client's business and the business category.
Oversee creative process from briefing to presentation, and production through implementation.
Understand strategy and ensure that it translates into day‐to‐day activity at each business.
Establish creative and marketing priorities for each business.
Work as a go between for the Account manager, creative teams and the business units.
Ensure all materials are received on time.
Have a working knowledge of each business plan and strategy for success as it relates to each promotion.
Prioritize daily/weekly workflow, with an understanding of how projects fit into a larger program.
Develop contingency plans, foresee roadblocks and problem solve when issues arise.
Proactively manage priorities with clients and be able to communicate those with creative team.
Provide excellent communication, verbal and written to the creative team as well as with the businesses (emails, creative briefs, weekly and monthly reports, annual strategic plans).
Analyze and articulate the connection between creative deliverables and their impact on our client's business (sale, traffic, buzz, brand health, awareness).
Strive daily to create effective and memorable marketing messages while meeting the business goals.
Help manage and produce social posts for each business.
Analyze current marketing strategies and help discover opportunities to reach a wider audience.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communications
Pursuing a bachelor’s or other degree
Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to follow direction as well as anticipate potential roadblocks and communicate in advance
Possess the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, coping effectively with complexity and change
Must be current Junior/Senior to apply.
