The Multimedia Creator position is responsible for handling and storage of all graphic files & assets.
The work will support Buchanan's ability to produce quality marketing materials.
You will work in a very fast-paced work environment that may require you to shift your priorities quickly while remaining extremely detail-oriented.

*What You’ll Do On a Typical Day*

* Checks all software and hardware at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure good housekeeping is maintained, batteries are charted and ready to go, and report to department head whenever equipment is not running properly.
* Maintain a clean organized work area.
* Prepares all digital art files as requested for digital printing.
* Follow instructions both written and verbal, as it pertains to the assembly of art files for print or video production.
* Generates improvement ideas and embraces improvement projects to better the business.
* Assists in improving workflow, including communication, template and file assembly, archiving and the standards and tolerances associated with artwork preparation for print production.
* Create or assist with the art for signage, documents, and promotional materials as needed.
* Create or assist with online content creation as needed.
* Create or assist with video editing and creation of promotional materials as needed.
* Maintain current industry knowledge on software/hardware upgrades or other assets which can improve the workflow, services, products, and quality of the marketing department.
Other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:*
* A strong intellect and drive to learn with an exceptional work ethic and attention to detail with excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and performing well in both atmospheres.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Flexibility to learn and fill in gaps in any area of production.
* Knowledge of current best practices and trends in digital and traditional marketing, along with an ability to learn and adapt as the industry evolves.
*Education and Experience:*
* Registered in or completed a minimum of 2 years of course in pursuance of a degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
* Working knowledge of various website platforms like WordPress and Craft – _preferred_
* Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft platforms/programs
* Experience with design and video editing
