Join the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum team! We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly team members to join the Coliseum team as a Part-time employee in the Ticket Sales division.
This role will not only sell tickets for events at the Coliseum but will answer questions about upcoming events and provide excellent customer service on the phone and in person.
This is an excellent opportunity to work Part-time in an office environment while working flexible hours.
This position is part-time, nonexempt, unclassified and not covered as defined by The Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen Employee Handbook.
Hours vary; must be available nights, weekends and holidays, as needed for events
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to use the current ticketing system to sell tickets to events held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
Answers phone calls and provides information about events.
Balances cash drawer at the end of shift.
Responsible for providing a high level of customer service with the guests.
Works in an office environment and maintains a professional working relationship with fellow staff members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Working Conditions
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic cash handling skills and hands on computer experience
Knowledge of office equipment
Willing to work flexible hours, days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed for events
Good verbal communication and customer service skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Ticket Seller works in a standard office environment with the ability to sit, stand, and move around freely involving some lifting up to twenty pounds, bending, typing, attention to detail, monitoring equipment, and noise.
