*Development Associate - Columbia City Location*
* Role Type: May be adjusted to part time or full time accordingly depending on the individual experience and availability
* Pay: $40,000-$48,500 depending on experience and qualifications
* Start Date: As soon as available

*Roles and Responsibilities:*
Fund Development
* Collaborate with the Donor Relations team in growing the annual fund including business sponsorships and individual donors by 15% by the end of 2026
* Help attain and retain annual fund donors through relational equity, storytelling, and speaking/teaching opportunities
* Utilize donor management software to track and manage all donor interactions and relationships
* Coordinate with the Donor Relations team to carry out The Center’s annual fundraiser by:
Recruiting table hosts and cooking teams
Using creativity to plan audience engagement on the night of the fundraiser
Using best fundraising practices and relational equity to strategically make financial asks
* Help implement a stewardship system that consistently promotes interaction with and recognition of donors at all levels
* Assist with special events, speaking/teaching opportunities, and collaborative efforts within the community
* Coordinate and schedule meetings with community leaders, parents, pastors, etc.
that advance the story of The Center and invites community buy-in through volunteers, collaboration, and resources
* Actively build community relationships and find areas of shared vision for collaboration
* Mobilize resources needed to both carry out the mission and ministry of The Center as well as community initiatives
*Miscellaneous:*
* Attend all-staff meetings
* Fill-in to cover staffing absences as needed, when available
* Work with data team to collect, organize, and report necessary fundraising data for annual grant requirements
*Qualifications:*
* Regularly involved in and attending a church
* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, preferred but not required
* Background in development or non-profit work preferred, but not required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive and excited about investing in the Whitley County community
* Must pass a background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
