The rest of the apartment(common areas) is fully furnished with fully stocked kitchen.
The room is rented fully furnished and comes with a full sized bed frame and mattress, waterproof and bug proof mattress encasement, pillows, a comfy leather loveseat/couch, a large table, chair, dresser, a metal clothes rack, shoe rack, area rug, fan, full length hanging mirror, cubicle storage shelf, standing floor lamp, natural fiber woven blinds and waste basket.
The room is even wired with ethernet cables to make good use of fast FiOS internet.
Rent includes all utilities based on reasonable usage, Verizon FiOS wi-fi, household supplies cost and apartment cleaning cost (additional surcharge applies for A/C unit use and for excessive electricity usage as well as hike in ConEd rates).
The room also has very good sound insulation.
This is for a 1 person occupancy, no couples please.

Looking for someone that's gainfully employed, on time with rent and bills, clean (very important), responsible, respectful, mature, not a homebody most of the time and is generally busy with his/her own schedule.
Someone that will treat the place as a home and contribute to a clean, upkeep and well maintained place.
And preferably someone that does not have a whole lot of stuff (the apartment is fully furnished with limited space for other furniture and appliances).
Overall, this is a pretty low key household with each roommate busy with own respective schedule and activities.
All roommates are expected to clean and pick up after him/herself after using the common areas.
We do occasionally gather together to have meals and drinks when we get the chance to.
While we are generally friendly, we also value our respective privacy greatly.
This place is really suitable for someone that's more of an introvert at home and doesn't bring the party home.
