Parts Advisor

Parts Counter Sales G&S Auto Parts in Columbia City is expanding and looking for an experienced parts counter sales person.
This is a salary plus commission position.
The Wholesale Parts Advisor sells parts to all available customers over the phone.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.
m.
- 5:00 p.
m.
; No Saturdays.
Job Responsibilities: Answer phone calls providing price quotes, answering questions and providing solutions for our wholesale customers Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our store and on the phone Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores Use technology computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
Solicit assigned accounts by phone Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that the purchase and pricing can be verified Keep current on new products and product updates.
Participate in all training programs that are made available.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive parts department is preferred.
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Professional personal appearance.
Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time.
