We are looking for experienced Commercial Service Plumbers to join our field operations team.
Successful candidates are flexible & highly motivated and go above and beyond in providing the highest level of customer service.
The Service Plumber is responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing, assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, or plumbing fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to plumbing codes.
In this capacity, you will be responsible to respond to work orders that range from routine maintenance to emergency calls to assist customers with their commercial plumbing needs.
Requirements:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Respond to work orders utilizing android app and properly document pertinent information through the life span of work order
Responsible for service, repair, and installation of commercial plumbing systems, which may contain but is not limited to leaky faucets, power rodding, water line jetting, water heater installing, etc.
Prepare job scope-of-work to include time estimates and material requirements
Trouble-shoot to determine necessary repairs
Provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers while maintaining timely and consistent communications with client and internal CLM support team
Follow state and local plumbing regulations and OSHA safety standards
Actively participate in and complete all required training programs
Participate in on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends
Completes other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 – 5 proven years of work experience as plumber or equivalent
Skilled and well-rounded in all aspects of plumbing and service maintenance plumbing
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment, ability to operate a cable machine a must
Must have organizational skills and communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to conduct oneself with integrity and professionalism
Proven experience working independently as well as part of a team
Comfortable with traveling to multiple locations within a geographic area throughout shift
Must have flexible availability that includes evenings, weekends, holidays & on-call rotation
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and MVR check
Capacity to use smart phones and/or tablets proficiently
Additional Experience: below is a plus!
Certification or proven experience with minor Electrical or Carpentry a plus!
Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up/down stairs on regular basis; climb up and down ladders up to 35 feet high repeatedly on a shift
Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders or man-lifts
Bend and stretch, lift and move heavy objects (50 – 65 lbs) many times across a shift
Operate, maintain, and work close proximity to various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery
Ability to operate and navigate a 10,000-pound van for extended periods of time, during all weather conditions.
