MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Registration/Certification/Licensure: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse; CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) within 3 months of hire
Experience: No specific experience required.
Education: Completion of a nursing program diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Located on the southwest corner of Main and Van Buren, Lutheran Downtown Hospital opened for patient care in November 2021 with 60 beds and room to expand.
A modern hospital in the heart of the city, Lutheran Downtown Hospital offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, opening with a 19-room emergency department, four operating suites, three gastroenterology suites, diagnostic imaging services, robotic-assisted surgery capabilities and laboratory services.
The planned size of the facility reflects the growth in services being offered in outpatient settings as medical technologies advance.
The facility is built with space to accommodate future growth to more than 100 beds, based on the community's needs.
