The Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of processes to maintain Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance and to continuously reduce EHS risk.
This position will operate under the guidance of the EH&S Manager.
And will help support multiple facilities.

* 4 day work schedule (Monday through Thursday)

*Principal Activities:*
* Provide leadership in health and safety by demonstrating and upholding all safe work rules, procedures and practices, and addressing any unsafe acts and conditions as required.
* Administer Environmental, Health & Safety programs at the facility level to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
* Responsible for timely and cost-effective administration of the company workers' compensation program including:
* Making initial contact with injured employee,
* Coordinating post injury care with occupational clinic and additional medical providers as needed,
* Notifying the employee's supervisor of the status of the case, coordinating the return to work of the employee,
* Communicating with injured workers during the claims process,
* Working with the insurance company, and
* Monitoring all open claims daily for change in status.
* Assist facility management with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees about environmental, health, and safety protocols and procedures.
* Perform routine site audits to ensure that policies and procedures are being properly implemented and maintained.
* Perform recordkeeping, statistical analysis, and reporting of metrics.
*Candidates should possess the following:*
* Associate degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related field; or *2+ years of experience*, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
* Ability to oversee confidential information.
* Motivated self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Knowledge and understanding of workplace environmental, safety, and health programs and regulatory standards.
* Knowledge of Workers Compensation process
