Parkview Health is actively recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Outpatient Gastroenterologist to join their well-established team in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Specifics of The Role
Outpatients only in GI clinic (1 day) and outpatient procedures (4 days)
NO weekend call
1-2 weekday call days per month
No inpatient rounding is required as you have partners that will cover the inpatient side
Support team consists of two APPs, two nurses, a procedure scheduler and scribe.
General GI opportunity but IBD training/experience is optimal.
The Team
Our group consists of inpatient physicians, outpatient physicians and advanced practice providers who have completed years of specialized training in gastroenterology.
The General Gastroenterology Team is supported by an Interventional Gastroenterology Team, including an interventional fellowship program.
We are focused on providing personalized care to patients who suffer from all gastrointestinal conditions including Crohn’s Disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal cancer, Barrett’s esophagus, acid reflux, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, digestive disease and colon cancer.
Our GI team provides services out of three Northeast Indiana offices.
Main office is located on our beautiful Parkview Regional Medical Center campus
