As a member of our EISA team, you will support operations across the Americas through your expertise in JD Edwards E1 software.
This role is responsible for defining systems scope, objectives and functionality based on the needs of the end users and a strong understanding of business processes.
Using that knowledge, you will then create solutions to meet the needs of the business within the system.
You will play a vital role in ensuring our ERP systems can meet the needs of our rapidly expanding business.
Job Duties:
Work with clients and staff to understand business requirements and offer recommendations on design based on best practices and efficiencies
Fulfill and support company’s requirements in matter of analysis, design and development of Information systems/ERP solutions
Understand functional specifications and able to translate key elements into technical specifications.
Communication of obstacles, ideas, plans and progress related to the tasks assigned to it
Handle the entire software development life cycle, from design to production support.
Provide technical advice when requested pertinent to its area of duty
Proficient in the development of JDE EnterpriseOne applications and functionalities.
Able to quickly understand high level requirements and provide written analysis and estimates to perform development
Apply best practices and suggest alternative solution paths for assigned tasks
Combine design skills and development effort to provide in time/in budget solutions
Provide documentation and support for systems audits
Willing to learn/adopt new tools and/or new developing languages
Supports/mentors team colleagues on the use of new tools and the coding in new languages.
Implements and controls the adaption of development standards
Requirements:
BS or BA degree.
8+ years JD Edwards EnterpriseOne functional and/or development experience
Understanding of JD Edwards applications, data, tables, and related systems, to create functional designs / technical specifications, for applications ,reports, conversions, and integrations required
Experience with Upgrade/Retrofit process required
Experience with BSSV, Orchestrator, Groovy Scripting, Subsystem Processing, BI Publisher, C, BSFN, NER, and OMW required
End to end integration experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and other applications
DSI and Loftware development experience desired
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Travel Requirement:
Weekend availability up to 25% may be required for maintenance and deploy
Day and overnight travel up to 25% may be required to domestic & international locations
Residency:
Candidate must reside in the Unites States, Mexico, or Canada.
