Nursery Assistant

*Purpose*: The purpose of this position is to assist church leadership in providing safe, secure, Christ-centered childcare for members and visitors 5 years old and younger while our nursery coordinator is on medical leave.
*Qualifications:* * Must love being around children! * Must be able to lift 50lbs * Must be able to pass criminal background check (if over 18yrs old) * Excellent communication and organizational skills *Duties:* * Ensure nursery is open and ready to receive children Sundays by 9am and remain open until approximately noon every Sunday.
* Provide secure nurturing environment for children per SAEPC Child Protection Policy * Integrate Christian themes, age-appropriate crafts, activities, and music into the childcare environment * Serve weekly until nursery coordinator returns from medical leave (16-weeks or longer) * 2nd Sunday of every month be available to provide book club child care until 2pm *Compensation:* $50 per service 9am-12pm; additional time paid at rate of $25/hour Encouraged to apply:15yrs old and up Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.
