As the Disabilities Benefits & Finance Specialist, you will maintain the financial accounts for individuals supported by Pathfinder.
You work directly with individuals helping them with their budgets, administering spending money, recording all deposits, paying bills, and ensuring proper documentation for all transactions.
In addition, you will help balance bank accounts, and facilitate benefits, including Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP benefits, Section 8 rent assistance, Trusts, and other benefits.
You will primarily be in an administrative role but will have some direct support with individuals as needs arise, pertaining specifically to this role within benefits and finance.

Requirements:Preferred Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED is required.
* Associate degree in accounting or business preferred.
* Experience with bookkeeping, budgeting, and/or finances preferred.
* One year of experience working with Excel/Word is preferred.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
* Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
